Are you awesome at:

Office administration
Travel and event bookings
Keeping an office going?

Administrators based out of our regional offices ensure a strong local presence. You will work with other staff members to ensure that members of the union receive timely, professional communication and event support. Some days you will be the only person in the office, perhaps working on spreadsheets and event bookings. Other days you will be travelling with colleagues to set up union events. We value strong working relationships with our colleagues and members and our administrators describe this as one of the most satisfying aspects of their role.

Tasks are varied and include:

Providing admin and tech support for meetings
Managing busy event calendars to get people where they need to go
Utilising different platforms to support data flow.
High quality meeting support – acting as secretary and treasurer for members’ meetings

In this role you will be part of the Ngāmotu team’s activities to support the aims of members. The Ngāmotu team connects across the central and lower North Island teams and you will be part of the administration team in this wider region. There is both an overarching manager for the region, plus a specialised administration manager to support and develop you.

We really value great ideas and enthusiasm and look forward to hearing from you about the skills you can bring to this role.
