Organising Support Officer National Office, Te Whanganui-a-Tara

Then NZEI Te Riu Roa is looking for you!

NZEI Te Riu Roa is the organisation representing 50,000 primary and early childhood teachers, specialist education staff and school support staff. It is committed to high quality public education and to the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

As an Administration Officer - Organising Support you would provide administrative support for NZEI’s national office teams that implement our plans and campaigns at national level.

You’ll need a full range of administrative skills, from document preparation to manipulating data and preparing presentations to people wrangling and meeting preparation and support.

Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency, a team ethos and a commitment to union values are must-haves to supplement your administrative skills.

NZEI Te Riu Roa is committed to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Candidates should either have or be committed to developing an understanding of Te Tiriti. We particularly welcome applications from people with experience in te reo and tikanga Maori.

Salary Range: $69,892 – $77,563
